The Stephanie Rogers Band is a high-energy, engaging group of talented players who aim to make party music exceptional and interesting. They are both very classy and wildly fun! The band appeals to a wide audience with their ability to nail a standard swing groove or Motown classic, then rock to the more current styles. Their desire is to see every person enjoying and dancing to the music, regardless of age!

Stephanie employs the finest musicians in Chicago. On drums, she has the talented Terry Branam, who comes from a highly schooled jazz education but manages to play pop and rock with outstanding precision. On bass, talented former LA session man Paul Merar has played with super stars and locals for many years; on keyboard is the incredible Jamie Pastman, one of the most sought-after and accomplished players in Chicago; and on guitar, Stephanie uses Chicago's best-known session and live player, Kraig McReary. She also has one-to-three horn players and two other topnotch vocalists (one male, one female) who add wonderful diversity to the set list. All of her players are considered top-ranking professionals and veterans of the Chicago music scene.

Stephanie Rogers is truly one of Chicago's top female performers. She has sung with local bands for nearly ten years and is requested for her uniquely soulful singing style. Heavily influenced by the work of Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell and Chaka Khan, Stephanie employs variety to hone her vocal technique. She sings straight from the soul and will make you dance, smile or tear up with her heartfelt vocal strength!

Stephanie's background includes: a degree from Northwestern University's theatre department; guest spots with almost every one of Chicago's top society orchestras; a John Lennon songwriting award; lots of Chicago and LA theatre credits and over fifty television commercials. She has performed both on-camera and off, and her voice can be heard in various compilation cds and jingles. She has starred in numerous television and films roles and has produced two cd's on her own indie label, Hipchick Records. Her latest collection of original songs, "Your New Life," was recently released to the internet and has received outstanding reviews.

Stephanie Rogers has performed in many country clubs, hotels, hot spots, clubs, bars, homes and even perhaps outside your office building! Her band has been an exclusively featured act at Navy Pier for the past eight summers and she has been heard on local and national radio. Her band recently won The Battle of The Bands on WGN television and has been spotlighted on WXRT radio.
